Queensland Safety And Testing is expanding and is currently accepting new clients.

Queensland Safety And Testing offers mobile inspections and NDT (Non Destructive Testing) on all Lifting Equipment, Height Safety/ Fall Arrest Systems, Air Receivers and Ladders. This ensures your company meets current compulsory OHS responsibilities and will in turn reduce down time due to injury and/or equipment failure, and costly breaches of the corresponding OHS policies.
Queensland Safety And Testing offers an experienced and competitive service at a time and place to suit your company. All work is conducted to current Australian Standards and completed by qualified technicians. We also offer a full repair service and can provide custom engineered lifting equipment to suit your requirements.
Records of all inspections are held in Queensland Safety And Testing’s unique database. The comprehensive report, which all our customers receive, details all relevant data relating to the items being inspected. This provides easy traceability for all equipment and relevant inspections and is easy to read. This is distributed either electronically through email as an easy to read PDF file or printed as a hard copy.

Some of the common OHS policies currently in place stipulate the following:
• Flat Webbing and Round Synthetic slings shall be inspected at intervals of no more than 3 (three) months.
• Personal fall arrest systems and devices, Harnesses, Lanyards and associated personal equipment shall be inspected at no more than 6 (six) monthly intervals.
• Lifting equipment such as chain slings, chain blocks, lever blocks, Forklift Lifting Equipment etc shall be inspected at intervals of no more than 12 (twelve) months.
If your company has any of the above, then it is your responsibility to ensure that the equipment meets current OHS standards. This includes regular inspections by competent technicians.
